AirMyne was founded on one idea—that for Direct Air Capture to make it out of the lab, it must be bullet-proof to any barriers to scale up.
Our founders Sudip and Mark met in 2012 at Honeywell. Over the course of his career, Sudip spent 16 years at Honeywell, where he co-invented a low-global warming automotive refrigerant that now has a market size of over $1B.
Mark worked with Sudip at Honeywell for three years before joining Chemetall-BASF, where he helped launch their Silicon Valley R&D arm and co-invented products used to manufacture power electronics for EVs & solar applications.
Over the years, Sudip and Mark built a tight bond and a shared belief that the best innovations happen on scrappy, low-ego teams. A couple backyard prototypes and one YCombinator application later, AirMyne was born.
